City: Amsterdam is such a beautiful place - I love the clean air, the liberated people, the sustainable lifestyles, and the canals.

Building: Over the past few years I have had the privileged of experiencing Architecture that makes me feel proud of of my culture and history, as it speaks to the resilience that lives within me. Nestled in Crown Heights Brooklyn, The Weeksville Heritage Center does just that with its rich history pared with the perfect assembly of materials.

Book: Motivational books always keeps my attention. Becoming by Michelle Obama came at the right time for me, as I was gearing up for a year of becoming a Principal, President, and a Professor.

Film: I love films that either show the progression of love such as A Star is Born, or the progression of confidence and resiliency like Moonlight, as they relate to my journey through life.

Public Space: Health is a priority to me and taking runs in Prospect Park fulfills my need for physical and mental health.

Architect: Yolande Daniels, who've I never met but had the honor of submitting her credentials for a NYCOBA NOMA Membership Highlight. She has been an inspiration since then.

Restaurant:The Shard in London, for both its amazing views of the city and food, had me over the moon as I celebrated my 30th birthday with my boyfriend Luis Medina.

Artist: Abrima Erwiah, co-founder of STUDIO 189, has been a true inspiration for me since working with her for her NYFW Spring/Summer Show. Her desire to highlight the work of our Ancestors through sustainable design and the ability to involve a range of artist and designer to work together to share this wonderful narrative has had an enormous impact for me as both a leader and a woman of color.

Memory: Rowing on the Grand Canal in Versailles was the most magical moment of my life to date, the range of scale and history I experienced all at once was breath-taking.

Object: I love a high-heeled boot; it helps me developed the strength I always look for in my calf muscle, as well as turns a simple outfit into a meaningful one.
